i can't sing an honest song

This post was a looong time coming. There's a lot of color/lighting tweaking, so you'll probably see multiple versions of the same icon, and a lot of anal-retentive "ooh, that frame was more fun than the one before it!" similarities. By no means do I profess to be an amazing icon-maker, but feel free to use anything you like (credit appreciated).
